Jawahar Kala Kendra
The Jawahar Kala Kendra is based on the Vastu-Purush Mandalas of the Vedic Shastras, wherein Architecture was conceived as a model of the Cosmos. The specific mandala invoked is the Navgraha (nine planets), which consists of nine squares. It is the main centre of art in the city. Art Exhibitions and Crafts Melas are a frequent occurrence here.


Dolls Museum
Attractive dolls from various countries are housed in the compound of the school for deaf & mute children, near the Police Memorial.

Zoological Garden
It is a heaven for birds of diverse plumage and animals of several species. Also on the premises are crocodile and python breeding farms. Open daily except Tuesday 8.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. entry is Rs. 2).
