Mission Statement :
The main purpose of the Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan is to provide a modern bridge to span the past, the present and the future, erected on a strong foundation of the fundamental values of life. The Bhavan firmly believes that revitalizing ancient values and reintegrating them to suit the changing needs of modern times alone will give people the strength to assimilate whatever is good in the new, without being swept off their feet by the tornadoes rushing from several sides.

Background :
Vidyashram was founded on July 29, 1985 with a commitment to unfold and nature the latent talent and potential of the children, and since then it has been discharging its duties successfully. Vidyashram has been contributing to the cause of society by producing responsible and enlightened citizens. Our Major Strengths This institution is part of a larger organisation (Bhartiya Vidya Bhavan) and provides transfer facility from one. 
 

Atmosphere :
Spread over an area of acres of land,Vidyashram provides an environment of love and dedication, opportunities to excel in studies, games and sports and co-curricular activities to build up the integrated personality of students.It is the only School in Jaipur, that imparts vedic knowledge. We endeavour to resuscitate and foster ethical and human values thus imparting formative education so that the student willingly absorb the values of Bharatiya Culture. 

To built up integrated personalities of the students in harmony with the changing needs, Guidance and Counselling department is maintained. 

Affiliation :
The School is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi and provides instructions from Std. I to Std. XII on the 10 +2 pattern. The school has also been granted permanent recognition by the Directorate of Education, Govt. of Rajasthan.
 

Sports & Extra Curricular Activities :
Vidyashram aims to make its pupils self reliant and responsible by training them in leadership through games and sports, adventures and hiking camps and finally through the House and Prefect System. The campus has facilities for a variety of games like tennis, football, and athletics. Professional coaches impart training in various games. Regular training in Mass PT and NCC are conducted. The lush green grounds of Vidyashram can be ranked as one of the best for sports activities.

Various co-curricular activities are organized in the school. Vidyashram endeavours to make the pupils self-reliant in life by training in responsible leadership and nurturing individual talent. Various activities are planned to achieve this aim. Regular classes in dance, drama, music, fine Arts, "Sanskrit Shlokas" and devotional music are conducted in the school. Public speaking, reading of the News paper and a talk in the Assembly is encouraged. Regular debates, declamation and recitation contests are organized in the school. These are at Primary and Senior level.
 

Registration & Admissions : 
Registration for admission opens normally in December/January. The tests and interviews are conducted in January/February. The time, date and place of tests and interview shall be notifed to the parents in advance. Mere registration does not gurantee admission. Admissions are subjected to availability of vacancies in a particular class, and qualifing at the test/interview. 
The child should be 5 years plus as on April 1, for admission to class one. Add one year for each higher class. Following documents and photographs are to be submitted alon gwith form. Attested xerox copy of Birth Certificate of the child issued by the municipal corporation. One copy of passport size photograph of the child. For boarders, copies of photgraph of the parents are also essential. Fees is charged bi-annually and will be subjected to revision every year. 

Other Details :
Hostels:
Vidyashram has four well furnished hostels, Vivekanand and Aurobindo House for senior boys, Vinoba House for Junior boys and Meera House for girls. The boarding houses are well furnished with all modern amenities. Central Dining Hall with modern kitchen and a capacity to seat 300 students, caters to serve vegetarian but balanced and nutritious food. The hostels have spacious dormitories and study rooms.
Girls and boys residences are separate and far apart. Each house is under the charge of a House Master/ Mother, who are senior members of the teaching staff. They supervise the overall functioning of all boarding activities. 

Library:
We have a rich library containing about 15000 books which cover nearly 50 subjects. We get 20 periodicals and 7 newspapers. Also the library has a variety of Encyclopedias. Audio Visual Hall is equipped with a wide screen T.V., V.C.R., over head projectors. (with laser pointers) slide projectors, (with remote control) transparencies and cassette players. 

Science Labs: 
We are the proud owners of well equipped, spacious and modern labs. Best quality instruments and chemicals are provided for every child to experiment independently. Chemistry and Biology labs are fully furnished with high tech. apparatuses and modern equipment. The air conditioned Computer Lab, with one dedicated file server and 21 nodes with colour monitors cater to the needs of the students.
