Background :
Subodh Public School, is famous for it's academic excellence, ever since it was foundedin the year 1987, under the banner of S.S.Jain Subodh Shiksha Samiti. 
Right from infant to Post graduate education is offered here under one single roof - which in itself speaks of it's mammoth growth.

Affiliation :
Subodh is affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi. It is a senior secondary co-educational institution where the classes range from I - XIIth. Our medium of instruction is English and prepares the student thoroughly for X and XIIth Board exam. 
      

Education System :
What broad based education really means is that student is prepared for life, without losing their areas of specialization or competence.
Education at Subodh is towards liberation, Value Based Education - making the child come out from ignorance, greed, apathy, slothfulness and deprivation , ' Sa Vidya ya Vimuktye'. The students are kept updated with different schemes of education which they could pursue after XII by means of career guidance lectures.

Teachers, with the help of overhead projectors, computers, charts, drawings and carefully 
designed working models - explain to their students, concepts, which in theoretical learning would be a tedious procedure, these sensory objects stimulize students and activate their minds helping them in in-depth understanding.

The in-school activities is cumulative which determines the students preparedness for the next higher class. The co-scholastic areas are contested vide a House system where in the students where in the students are divided into Rk (Red). Atharva (Blue), Sam (Brown) and Yajur(Green) houses. 
      

Admission :
SPS has always catered to the needs of children from all communities and classes of society though it is primarily meant for children of the Sthanakwasi Jain Samaj. Admission in class 1 is open for those candidates who have attained 5 years as on April 1,2000. The Prospectus contains a Registration form which is to be duly filled and returned to the office by assigned date along with necessary requirements. An admit card is issued for the Entrance Examination. 
On declaration of the result the passed candidates' list is displayed on school notice board.
   
Adequate proof of age and that the candidate has cleared Prep from an English medium school must be enclosedwith Registration form along with two recent coloured photographs. All fees once deposited are non-refundable. 
    

Other Details :

Library :
School has a rich library in which the inquisitive minds can feel satiate the knowledge of the inquisitive minds. Our library is stocked with over 10,000 books which updated with latest books every month. Our library also subscribes to magazines and requisite journals to rejevunate the young minds. 
  
Computer :
In the age of computers Subodh is well equipped with the latest computers. The spacious and well equipped 2 computer labs have been aimed to devlop the basic skills and exposure towards incoming technology. The school upgrades its computers with the latest technology at regular intervals. Computer training is imparted from class I onwards and is an integral part of our scheme of education. 
   
Auditorium & A.V. Room :
An auditorium to seat 2000 is well under completion .The air cooling plant has been fixed in the entire school .Negotiation for obtaining ISO are going on towards completion. Special audio visual room with OHP and TV sets have been made.

The school has a network of 42 CCTV and an absolute modern P.A.System .Soon the internal telecast would be made available which would facilitate the students to watch the matches being played outside on the fields ,selected programmes being carried on in the auditorium ,library and special guest lecturers.
    
Annual Magazine
The school has come up with its Annual Magazine "KinShuk".
    

Subodh Alumnus :
Old Student's association of those who have passed out of class XII exists in the name of SA. Membership to it is compulsory.
