Scholarships :
There is a range of scholarship programmes for higher education and TAFE (Technical and Further Education) courses available to international students. Various organisations (foundations, international aid and development agencies and private companies) offer scholarships for international study. 

Post-graduate scholarships are offered by the Australian Government and by individual universities. It is up to individuals to investigate all possible sources of funding. A good source of information is the Publication Scholarship, offered by the Australian Government and by individual universities.

Under-graduate Scholarships

The Adelaide Scholarships International (ASI)
Up to six prestigious scholarships may be available to outstanding international students from any country undertaking study in any academic discipline (except Medicine). Benefits include payment of full tuition fees, plus an annual living allowance of $10,000 for the normal duration of the course. 
 

The Adelaide Achiever Scholarships International (AASI) :
Up to 15 Adelaide Achiever Scholarships may be available to international students from any country undertaking study in any academic discipline (except Medicine). Benefits include payment of full tuition fees for the normal duration of the course.

The Sepang Institute of Technology Scholarships :
Up to six scholarships for students transferring to Adelaide University, after completing two years at the Sepang Institute of Technology (SIT). Benefits include payment of full tuition fees for the normal duration of the course.

The Adelaide Honours Scholarships (International) :
Approximately 15 scholarships may be available to meritorious international students, who intend to undertake their honours year in any discipline at Adelaide University. Benefits are payment of one half of the full tuition fee. Students completing undergraduate degrees at other Australian universities are encouraged to apply for these scholarships.

Conditions
* Scholarships will be awarded based on academic merit
* Citizens and permanent residents of Australia and citizens of New Zealand are not eligible for any of the international scholarships
* Candidates are required to enrol in Adelaide University as ‘international students’ and must maintain their ‘international student’ status for the duration of their enrollment in the university
* All scholarships are available for the normal duration of the course, subject to satisfactory progress
* All successful recipients will be required to pay their own overseas student health cover each year
* Scholarships holders must commence study in Adelaide University in 2001. Commencement may not be deferred
