About the school :
We have three Pre school year namely Nursery, K.G. and Prep.The Nest is designed to increase the childs activeness in School and to cultivate such personality traits as curiosity, open-mindedness resourcefulness, concentration, thoroughness, confidence, respect for self & others, responsibility and independence.
The School has a responsibility to recognize these sociological facts & to help prepare children to live in the world which will be theirs to help them to learn to deal with the change. This means helping them to learn to make their own decisions, to judge truth from untruth, to evalute information.

Aims & Objectives :
The Nest is an educational system aiming at building an integrated personality, a personality that is a harmonious balance of the different elements that constitute our being, our body, our feelings, our thoughts & impulses, our aspiration & our seeking.
The physical, emotional & mental aspects of education are realized through a carefully planned programme. Outdoor play & Creative arts, Montessori appartatus, sensorial training, language work & number work serve to sharpen the child’s power of observation & analysis.
In this institution the base is prepared for creating a liking to come to school. Concepts are introduced through Art & Craft, Music & Montessori apparatus. The school combines the best of the Playways & the conventional methods, with very little regimentation & an open & flexible environment.

Atmosphere :
The climate is such that pupils move about the School with confidence & talk with ease. The students are free to simply walk into the office to complain, consult, share an anixiety or a piece of information or good news.
This keeps the principal in constant touch with her colleagues as well as the pupils.

Admission :
Children are not subjected to any form of test at the time of making admissions. Instead the school authorites interact with the parents applying for admission of their children.

Teaching Staff :
The institute has a dedicated team of trained & qualified teachers. The Student Teacher ratio is very low : We have 20 & 24 children with one teacher & one helper in the Nursery & Prep sections respectively. Besides, we have special teachers for Art, Montessori, Music, Toys, Games, Library & Physical education.

Extra Curricular Activities
:
Co-curricular activities are as important as formal academic learning. Explicitly the co-curricular activities for the students are :-
English Elocution, Hindi Elocution, Writing Competition, Drawing Competition, Spelling Contest, Music & Dance, Fancy Dress Competition, Sports, Craft, Handi Craft, Poster Making, Fabric Painting/Printing, Making of paper flowers etc.

Other Details :
Library :
There is an attractive library – their own “Kitab Ghar”. Children are introduced from the beginning to the use of the library & enjoy books.
Computer Lab :
Computer education is very important for our children to improve their minds & to make their future. There is a well furnished & well decorated computer lab & computer library also for children. We have also introduced Multi-Media System in our school.
Books & Stationery :
All school books & articles of stationery should be purchased from the school for the sake of uniformity.

Withdrawls :
1. A clear calendasr month’s notice in writing or a month’s fee in lieu there of must be given before a pupil can be withdrawn.
2. All dues have to be cleared before a Transfer Certificate is issued.
Students can be asked to leave the school on the following grounds :
(a) Indiscipline (b) Unsatisfactory progress in studies
(c) Student who fails twice in the same class.
3. Caution Money is the refundable only withing three months of the child’s leaving the school.
