Introduction :
Maharaja College has a glorious past history of more than 159 years. It was established in 1844 by Sawai Raja Ram Singh (II). Since then, it is a renowned educational centre for boys. From the year 1962, it is running courses for Science faculty only & functioning as an important constituent of the Rajasthan University. It has also introduced computer application courses. It has a good library, laboratory and well equipped lecture halls. 

This centrally located institute has more than 125 qualified & able lecturers. Maharaja College was recognised by the COSIP programme of UGC.

- General English
- Elementary Hindi (in place of general Hindi for foreign students)
