Fashion Design (FD):
The fashion design programme curriculum covers the development of a garment from the source of inspiration to the finished product involving technical aspects like fashion art and design, pattern making, grading, garments constructiion and draping. Individual creativity is channelised into design collections and projects. Students are put through an industrial internship which prepares them to fabricate for a wide range of products from the ready to wear to the up market trade and haute-culture.
 
Visual Merchandising (VM) :
As there has been increased emphasis on the kind of store layout, store building, fixtures & equipment, color displays, silent communication tools, window displays, this curriculum intends to teach the students the mechanisms of applyings art to commercial use seeing direct impact on the bottomline of companies.

This programme is designed to give the student competence in three areas :
a) Creative Art
b) Scientific applications to retail
c) Techno commercial planning and execution.

Students looking for employment can find themselves working for retailers, as visual merchandiser while students with the entrepreneurial streak can become event managers or interior designers.
